Shark Attacks

Shark attacks have increased tremendously since the beginning of the 1900s. The Great White shark is the most common type of shark to kill people. When we are all on vacation in the summer we do not always think about how common shark attacks. August and September are the most common months for shark attacks and Florida is the state with the most amounts of attacks in the whole world. Worldwide there are around 70-100 shark attacks every year and around 10 deaths. The shark attack trend continues to rise because every decade because more and more people start to go into the ocean. There are three different types of shark attacks. The first is called "hit and run". This means that the shark literally bites the victim and leaves. The second is called "bump and bite" which implies that the shark may circle or bump the victim before attacking.
